About us

MATS is the union of three prominent Mexican entertainment companies with one goal: Promoting Latin American culture across the globe. Each company contributes a distinctive set of qualities. We are the bridge between US rising talent and Mexico’s greatest concerts and festivals.

“It’s an honor for Apodaca Group to form part of this new MATS partnership, along with great entertainment companies, in order to penetrate one of the most important markets, as is the United States,” says Oscar Flores Elizondo Jr, co-founder of Apodaca Group.

“The pandemic made us take this challenge of entering the U.S. market seriously. It’s very satisfying to be able to expand our sphere of influence in the United States with the help of two other great Mexican businesses,” states José Luis Domínguez “Chelis”, co-founder of Mano Booking.

Our team expertise in artist development, concert and festival promotion, tour planning, and a worldwide business network makes MATS a unique commercial platform. A decade of artist management and successful festivals in Mexico such as Pa’l Norte, Ceremonia, and Tecate Location series speak for us.

“Our philosophy builds on the firm belief that talent is enhanced by conversation, and creative and cultural exchanges. As the world progresses in its process of interconnection, the barriers between genres and the labels regarding the roots of music tend to disappear. Exchanges enrich the global culture and within the three companies of our group we believe that everything fits in in the territory of creativity.

Over the course of two years, we’ve observed that festivals contribute significantly in bridging the gap to create these conversations, specifically among Hispanic-American artists with their peers throughout the world. Concerts have become transportation; they’ve become the most honest experience so that music travels, and the reward is the human connection with their audience. That’s why the idea to establish a foothold in the United States proved to be a natural step in the strengthening of our mission. It’s undeniable that the United States, with its cultural richness and its vast territory, is an ideal location to leverage this idea of music and culture from a global perspective that without sacrificing local identities can establish languages and gathering places where human beings from any part of the world can feel acknowledged. The language of music transcends geography,” states Diego Jiménez Labora, co-founder of TSM.
